House 2 Whatcotts Yard is part of a new build terrace of three houses in Stoke Newington. Silvia Ullmayer designed the shell of this collaborative housing project together with two other architects in 2004, while the the interior and detail of house 2 is by Ullmayer Sylvester Architects. The project is somewhat of a young architect’s dream, as we took a year out to design and build our home and to act as main contractors, exploring a timber alternative to a traditional terraced house.
